WE’RE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS FOR OUR COMMITTEE

National Student Pride is the largest LGBT+ student event in the UK. Every February in London, we host ~2,000 students from all over the UK and beyond for a weekend of parties, panel discussions, and the largest LGBT+ careers fair of its kind. Our event is created by students for students, and our volunteer student committee is made up of LGBT+ people just like you.

We need hard-working, enthusiastic team players to join our committee of student volunteers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the LGBT+ community, develop your skills and add valuable volunteer experience to your CV.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have a passion for LGBT+ activism

  • Will use their initiative and come up with exciting new ideas

  • Can work as part of a team, completing any tasks that are delegated to you thoroughly and efficiently

  • Are able to work hard during busy periods (e.g. the week of the National Student Pride event)

  • Preferably based in London to attend meetings (except for Media and Outreach roles)

Our Volunteer Roles

  • Graphic Designer

    Work within the media team to create eye-catching content and creative multimedia design.

    You will need at least a basic capability in industry-standard Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Illustrator and InDesign, and will work under the guidance of Branding Brothers.

  • Outreach officer

    We are looking for students to join our existing team, we are looking for support in: North and South of England, Scotland, Wales. You will build a rapport with local university SUs, diversity coordinators and LGBT+ societies.

    Deliver all event information to the University / Colleges, manage group bookings liaise with Careers departments and manage tickets & booking in desk at the event.

  • Social Media Officer

    Help to manage our social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Linkedin), act as the voice of the organisation online.

    Come up with content ideas, keep track of notable historical LGBT+ days in the calendar to celebrate, help raise awareness for issues important to us.

    Track engagement with our social media and strategize for continuous improvement.

Paid Roles

  • Admin and Studio Manager

    We are actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our studio, as part of our operations and team support. If your passion lies in streamlining processes and enhancing productivity, you might just be the perfect fit.

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the operational and administrative aspects of the studio and teams to create an efficient and productive work environment.

    The role will be split between Guy Piper Architects, National Student Pride and Architecture LGBT+

    Location:
    Office based in Angel, London, N1
    Hours: 20 hours a week, flexible between 9-5:30pm Monday - Friday.
    Salary: Up to £30,000 pro-rata depending on experience
