The #StudentPride Awards return for their third year to celebrate the individual and collective impact of students on the lives of LGBTQ+ communities from across the UK.
We are on the hunt for student changemakers who continue to #RedefinePossibility through their work, celebrating both the public and silent efforts that are reshaping the landscape for LGBTQ+ communities across the country.

Changemaker of the Year
Awarded to the student who has most passionately advocated for their chosen cause, leading to a substantial impact on the lives of the LGBTQ+ community in their area.

Special Recognition for Overcoming Adversity
Awarded to the LGBTQ+ student who, despite their hardships, embodies an incomparable, determined commitment to personal development.

Academic Contribution of the Year
Awarded to the student who demonstrates a unique, authoritative and exemplary academic contribution to LGBTQ+ related topics within their chosen discipline. This could be a thesis, dissertation, essay or any other relevant academic projects.
2024 Society & SU Categories

Society of the Year
Awarded to the SU society that has had the most visible, active and integral impact on and for the LGBTQ+ community at their university.

Society Project of the Year
Awarded to the most memorable SU society event, initiative or project of the year which has led to a positive impact on the lives of the LGBTQ+ community at their university.

SU Campaign of the Year
Awarded to the most memorable Students Union or Guild campaign of the year which has led to a positive impact on the lives of the LGBTQ+ community at the university. This can be an event, initiative or project.
